Travel Advice

If you require any vaccinations relating to foreign travel you need to make an appointment with the travel nurse at least 6 weeks in advance of travel. You must complete a

PRE-TRAVEL HEALTH & VACCINATION ASSESSMENT FORM and bring to your appointment.

There is further information about countries and vaccinations required on the links below

Europe & Russia

North America

Central America

South America

Middle East

Central Asia

East Asia

Australasia and Pacific

It is important that you make the appointment as early as possible  - at least 6 weeks before you travel. Most travel destinations require standard vaccinations and are available free under the NHS at the surgery.

Some destinations require specialist travel vaccines which are ordered on a private prescription and these incur a charge over and above the normal prescription charge at the chemist. The surgery doesnot charge any extra.

For more exotic travel  we may need to refer you to a local specialist travel clinic and you may be charged by that clinic.
