Having an ill child can be a very scary experience for parents.

If you understand more about the illness it can help you feel more in control and allow you to take the most appropriate course of action for your child.

As very small children can deteriorate rapidly, children under 12 months old will be seen at Moorlands on the same day by a Nurse Practitioner or GP. Please ring to make a same day appointment.

For children aged 1 year and over, please view the following publications which will provide you with some information relating to your childs illness and allow you to make an informed decision on what action to take. If you are unsure what action to take, please ring Moorlands for advice.

The 'When Should I Worry' booklet is a guide to coughs, colds, earache and sore throats and can be found by clicking the link below
